Established in January of 2010, CrossFit Lindy was one of the first CrossFit Affiliates on Long Island. Owner, Head Trainer, and 4x Games Athlete Daniel Tyminski has had more experience in achieving your fitness goals. Daniel Tyminski has completed SEVERAL CrossFit Courses and is also a ISSA Certified Personal Trainer. His knowledge of the sport is unparalleled to any ofter trainer or CrossFit affiliate on Long Island.
He continues to pursue excellence in the sport for himself but he also puts more than 100% into you as the member. Nothing is more satisfying to him then watching his community grow into athletes. To become more physically fit and to attain your fitness goals no matter how big or small.

Joey joined CrossFit Lindy 2 years ago with the sole purpose to fulfill his competitive edge he had from being a high school and collegiate athlete. Very soon after joining he realized he had a real passion for teaching and coaching others and helping them be the best version of themselves. He also currently a full time student to earn my degree as a doctor of physical therapy while also being a part time strength and conditioning coach at Infiniti Sports Performance. He loves making improvements in his own personal athletic ability, but his real passion is being able to pass down my knowledge to others to help live a better and healthier life! He wants you to reach your fitness goals

Rob started his CrossFit journey back in early 2015. Ever since then, he has been in love with the program.  When Rob doesn’t teach CrossFit Classes, he’s also a teacher Physical Education Department in Queens. When Rob was in college, he was a baseball player at Dowling College. Loves to help people better themselves. Passionate about human performance and constantly learning and applying new ideas. Wants to teach people in the gym and in school the value of a healthy and active lifestyle.

“Hardest worker in the room”. If you can describe Bob, that statement suits him perfectly. If there is anything that he wants to do or accomplish; he puts more then 100% effort and gives it everything he’s got. Bob has been apart of the CrossFit Lindy family for over 6 years. And now. He is the newest member of our coaching staff. CrossFit is Bob’s passion outside of having one of the most reputable jobs out there, and thats being a part of the NYPD. He loves to help others which is why he became a cop. And for fun, Bob wanted to get certified in teaching CrossFit to eventually further him by helping others. He is no stranger to hard work, blood, sweat and respect. He will thrive to help others who want to better themselves!

I started doing CrossFit towards the end of 2017 and joined Lindy back in July of 2018. CrossFit has allowed me to stay in shape while giving me new goals, strength I didn’t know I could have, new friends, & most importantly a new sport to compete in since graduating college. I was a Division II lacrosse player at Mercy College where I received a masters degree in public accounting. Although I work as an accountant, my true passion in life is to help people become the best versions of themselves, as CrossFit has allowed me to do. I love bringing my fitness to higher levels  & learning things about health & nutrition that I can pass along to help others reach their own goals and lead healthier lifestyles.
